Meet the Therapist

Autumn H. (LMT, LMBT, AOS, CHW, Reiki Master/Teacher, Massage Doula, and Indigenous Wisdom Keeper)

Hi! My name is Autumn and I am a LMT and LMBT. I attended Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and then later received an Associates In Occupational Therapy with an emphasis in Massage Therapy. I  worked on a Degree in Alternative Medicine at Everglades University in Boca Raton FL and have been continuing my education by attending ISEE. 

I have become a Priestess, I carry the Priestesshood of The Order of the Magdalene Rose Temple with great pride. 

I am the owner of Southern Healing. I have spent my career dedicated to serving others, serving my community as an Emergency Medical Technician, served as a member of Carova volunteer fire and rescue service where I ensured every call was met with thoughtful, nurturing care while being a strong, valuable asset to the team.  I, to this day, spend my time serving my clients with a passion for bodywork, natural healing with energetic balance; while being a champion for the bodywork industry. My husband and I are raising our family by showing our children that the sky is the limit. Our girls help in the shop and have created their own business making soap.  With the loving support of my husband, I have become teacher, a business owner, an advocate for others, as well as an advocate for my profession, a healer and mentor. I currently hold a position with the North Carolina chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association as an Education Co-coordinator in North East NC. My passion in life is to become a Midwife or Acupuncturist  I am taking steps towards this goal by specializing in Doula Massage for Labor and Delivery as well as attending educational programs to make this dream a reality.
